Due to this\, several models of differential equations have been formulated over the years\, among them\, the classic Navier-Stokes model. However\, this model does not consider the influence of particles immersed in the fluid in its flow. Because of this\, A. C. Eringen proposed a model for fluids with microstructure called Micropolar fluids. In this presentation we will make a brief introduction to the micropolar model and its relationship with the Navier-Stokes model.
